The ROCKS, Inc., founded in 1974, is a tax-exempt non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) comprised of ROTC and Military Academy Cadets, active duty, reserve component, commissioned officers and active duty or reserve component warrant officers and Department of Defense GS12 and above civilians. The organization was formed to provide mentorship, professional development and social interaction to strengthen the officer corps. In addition to the R.C. Cartwright Scholarship Fund, the "Leadership Outreach" program provides the opportunity for teams consisting of ROCK members to visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide professional career development guidance to ROTC students.

               The Washington, DC Chapter of the ROCKS, Inc.
            As the largest chapter of the ROCKS, Inc. this chapter is very
            active in the Washington, DC metropolitan community. Their
            annual events include the Annual Spring Gala, 5-Mile Race/2-Mile
            Walk, West Hamilton Dinner and Joint Holiday Celebration with the
            Washington, DC Chapter of the National Naval Officer Association.
            The chapter is also known for their annual scholarship awards that
                are presented to high school ROTC cadets.

Founded more than 25 years ago, as The Retired Military Officers Association, RBA is a group of former military officers whose lineage predates the Civil War. Having honorably served their country, these officers have established and currently operate successful diversified commercial businesses.  RBA’s primary mission is to contribute to the economic success of America through the enhancement of RBA members' personal and corporate economic powers.



workplace Workplace Fairness (WF)
Workplace Fairness was founded in 1994 as the National Employee Rights Institute (NERI). The name of the organization was changed in 2001 to reflect their effort to link the knowledge and work of employment rights attorneys with that of non-legal organizations and other individuals who are concerned with issues of fairness in the workplace. WF provides information, education, and assistance to individual workers and their advocates nationwide and promotes public policies that advance employee rights. WF goals are that workers and their advocates are educated about workplace rights and options for resolving workplace problems and that policymakers, members of the business community, and the public at large view the fair treatment of workers as both good business practice and sound public policy.

Penn Trails is involved in all stages of natural surface trail planning, design and construction, specializing in hiker/pedestrian, universally accessible trails and equestrian trails. Penn Trails provides Trail Assessments, Planning, Construction, Project Management and Construction Management. The company provides a variety of trails training and education programs including Sustainable Trail Planning & Design, Universal Planning & Design for Trails, Trail Management & Maintenance Strategies, Job Hazard Analysis and Trail Crew Leadership Training. Penn Trails is a national Licensed Training Provider company for the American Red Cross, with our primary focus on providing professional Wilderness/Remote First Aid Training for federal, state and non-profit clients.
